THE FLAG OF THE UNITED KINGDOM

It is composed of three flags:
- the flag of Saint Andrew (Scotland)

  






- the flag of Saint Patrick (Northern Ireland)


 


 

 

 

 





- the flag of Saint George (England)
 

 

 

 






And after making the flags, we taught the rest of primary the story of the flag od the UK.

Do you want to see how we work in the English Class? Here you have a little sample. Along with daily routines, during the first term we have been working on the alphabet as an extra unit of learning. By working on the alphabet we aim to learn several points:
       LISTENING / SPEAKING
       1.- vocabulary (one word for each letter)

              - They are ... (plural)
              - Is it ...? Yes, it is./No, it isn't.

REMEMBRANCE DAY
November 11th (POPPY DAY)

Armistice Day is on 11 November and is also known as Remembrance Day. It marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918. A two-minute silence is held at 11am to remember the people who have died in wars.
